Guaranteeing children's rights requires diligent work. The Defender visited Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex

Today, the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan visited Mkhitar Sebastatsi educational complex at the invitation of Ashot Bleyan, the director of the educational complex. The Defender toured the premises of the educational complex, got acquainted with the open public system of the educational institution created by a well-known educational curriculum, and with the principles of organizing fully inclusive education.

The principal Ashot Bleyan brought to the Defender’s attention the issue of inaccessibility of the physical environment of the educational institution. He noted that they had repeatedly applied to the relevant authorities with the request to adjust the physical environment in order to ensure full inclusive education, but had not reached any result.

The Human Rights Defender highly appreciated the continuing efforts of the Director to ensure the best conditions for child development and expressed his readiness to support them, within his mandate, in finding solutions to the issues.

“Guaranteeing children's rights requires diligent work. Your attitude towards children and employees should be an example for all.” said the Human Rights Defender during the conversation with Ashot Bleyan.

At the end of the tour, Arman Tatoyan answered the questions of the journalist-students of the educational institution at the horse-riding farm premises of the complex.
