Today, the Human Rights Defender Dr. Arman Tatoyan had a telephone conversation with the Netherlands' Ombudsman for Children Ms. Margrite Klaverboer on the subject of the two Armenian children deportation from the Netherlands to Armenia.
The Dutch Ombudsman assured that the issue of the Armenian children is a priority for her and she makes efforts to postpone the deportation, in order to study all the documents related to the children and the issues on protection of their rights in detail.
The Armenian Human Rights Defender expressed his gratitude to his colleague and noted that he stands ready to take the necessary steps within his mandate to ensure the children's rights in case of deportation.
