The Defender published Armenian and English summaries of special positions (amicus curia) submitted to the Constitutional Court

The Human Rights Defender published Armenian and English summaries of special positions (amicus curia) submitted to the Constitutional Court during 2017-2018. 


The practice of submitting special positions to the Constitutional Court was initiated since 2016. The special positions include the analyses on human rights and freedoms conducted as a result of monitoring and investigation of individual complains, as well as international principles and standards on constitutionality of the certain issue. 

 

In the framework of submitting special positions, the issue of uniform application of procedural terms of the court, the regulations regarding state duty charged during the administrative trial, exemption from the state duty, the issue with regard to servicemen right to receive monetary compensation for all unused vacations in case of dismissal from the work or military service, and number of other issues were examined.

 

Armenian and English summaries of special positions of the RA Human Rights Defender submitted to the Constitutional Court during 2017-2018 are enclosed.
