By the Defender’s instruction, a rapid response group visited the Police Unit: Protests against Amulsar mine exploitation are monitored

The Office of the Human Rights Defender monitors the events connected with the Amulsar mine.

The hotline of the Defender’s Office has received 5 calls and a rapid response group was dispatched to Arabkir Police Unit by the Human Rights Defender’s instruction.

Private interviews will be held with the apprehended persons. The state of their rights protection, as well as grounds for deprivation of liberty will be examined.
