In the framework of the discussion of complaints addressed to the Human Rights Defender, and for the purpose of getting acquainted with the state of ensuring the servicemen’s rights, the representatives of the Human Rights Defender made an announced visit to Central Clinical Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
During the visit the military servicemen’s health care issues, health records were examined, private interviews were held with military servicemen, and the possibilities of their rights realization were clarified.
Within the visit the representatives also met with the administrative staff of Central Clinical Military Hospital and Central Military Medical Commission, during which the issues of servicemen health condition, the provision of proper medical care and service, the course of treatment and results, as well as issues related to the military-medical examination were discussed.
After summarizing the results of the visit, relevant official letters will be sent to the Ministry of Defence.
