The Human Rights Defender started a discussion procedure on its own initiative with regard to the Police officers’ visit to “News.am” agency and the letters addressed to the news agency by the Police.
Clarifications will be requested from the RA Police, also taking into account the circumstances mentioned in the announcements of the “News.am” agency.
At this stage of discussion procedure, it is necessary to record that issues related to the professional work of media and journalists, as well as any interference thereof are under the Human Rights Defender’s attention.
