During the meeting, the representatives of the organization introduced to the Defender the results, problems and concerns of the research which was implemented in child care and protection institutions, as well as in secondary educational institutions of Armenia in 2016.
In his turn, Arman Tatoyan expressed his thankfulness for the implemented work and highlighted the importance of the steps made in the field of child’s rights protection,
According to the new Law on Human Rights Defender of Armenia, the Defender conducts activities for protection and prevention of child rights’ violations. The Defender introduced planned projects in the field of child’s rights protection, cooperation with international and local organizations, the establishment of child’s protection unit, etc.
At the end of the meeting the Defender expressed his willingness to farther strengthen the current cooperation towards the protection of child’s rights.
