The RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan today met with Director of the Armenian mission of the US Agency for International Development Ms. Deborah Grieser.
During the meeting the Ombudsman presented the overall outline of the activity of the Human Rights Defender’s office, the programs of enlarging its branches in marzes (provinces), the main directions and perspectives of cooperation with relevant international structures.
The parties also discussed the issues, related to prevention of domestic violence, protection of the rights of refugees, children and interests of businessmen.
Mr. Arman Tatoyan highly estimated the role of USAID-Armenia mission and its activities and expressed willingness to initiate joint human rights projects and cooperate in relevant spheres.
