The mother of the conscript asked the Human Rights Defender to assist her son to undergo military service in a military unit close his place of residence.
On the same day, officers from the Department for the Protection of the Rights of Military Servicemen and Their Family Members of the Human Rights Defender’s Office visited the Republican Recruitment Centre. They, jointly with authorized representatives of the Ministry of Defense, examined the documents certifying the family status of the conscript.
As a result, the conscript participated in the lottery envisaged for conscripts who enjoyed the privilege to serve in a military unit close to their residence and afterwards began the military service in the military unit close to his place of residence.
