On July 27, 2017, the specialists of the Human Rights Defender's Office, after having summarized the received oral and written complaints, once again made an unannounced visit to Hrazdan penitentiary institution of RA Ministry of Justice.
They had private conversations with the persons in custody, examined their medical records and conditions of detention facilities.
Part of the recorded issues was solved on the spot as a result of collaboration with the administration of the penitentiary institution; the other part will be presented to the Ministry of Justice in the scope of a written procedure.
