An unannounced visit to Tavush and Gegharkunik military units

The representatives of the Human Rights Defender have made unannounced two-day visit to the military units in Tavush and Gegharkunik regions to ensure the discussion of the complaints addressed to the Defender, as well as to get acquainted with the state of protection of servicemen's rights.  During the visits, the quality of provided medical care was examined, interviews were held with the servicemen, officers and privates presented their concerns.

 

The identified issues were discussed with the commanders of the military units. The corresponding official letters will be send to the Ministry of Defense after the results of the visit are summarized.

 

Some issues related to the provided medical care which were identified during the previous visits and raised by the Defender have been successfully solved.
