In accordance with the requirements of Article 31 of the RA Constitutional Law on Human Rights Defender, today the Annual Report on activities of RA Human Rights Defender and the situation of protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms during 2016, as well as the Annual Report on activities of the Human Rights Defender as the National Preventive Mechanism were published.
The ad hoc Report on July events of 2016 was also prepared by the Human Rights Defender. It contains guideline principles, which are based on individual complaints and fact founding missions, as well as on monitoring activities and studies conducted on the bases of media publications. The mentioned ad hoc Report will be published soon.
The Human Rights Defender will conduct a press conference regarding Annual report and the Annual report of National Preventive Mechanism published today.
