The citizen asked for the Human Rights Defender’s support in reviewing the decision of the Custodian and Guardianship Body on the place of residence of his two minor children.
According to the applicant, the Custodian and Guardianship Body had not taken into consideration the professional opinion of the psychologist while determining the children’s place of residence therefore the decision did not derive from children’s interests.
In the framework of the discussion procedure, a letter was sent to Yerevan Municipality, with an appropriate justification, to discuss the newly emerged circumstances at the Custodian and Guardianship Commission’s session, to take into account the opinion of the psychologist and, accordingly, present a new conclusion.
As a result, the children receipt residence in the place of the other parent.
