Today, Arman Tatoyan received the Chairman of the Petitions Committee of the German Bundestag Gero Storjohann who is in Armenia on an official visit.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of priorities with regard to human rights protection in both countries.
The Defender presented the fields of institution’s activities and emphasized that when developing ad hoc reports, the German experience is being examined. Arman Tatoyan stressed the importance of active cooperation with German Embassy in Armenia, as a result of which various projects are implemented.
Gero Storjohann presented the activities, structure as well as workload of the Petitions Committee.
During the meeting bilateral cooperation agreement was reached between the parties.
