The issues of borderline villagers are subject of primary attention: With the support of the Defender, a resident of Voskepar has undergone a free surgery (video)

Maksim Makhsudyan, a resident of Voskepar community, raised the issue of free eye surgery during the visit of the Human Rights Defender Arman Tataoyan to Voskepar, Baghanis, Voskevan and Koti cummunities of RA Tavush Province.

According to him, he has a second-degree disability, but in the hospital he was requested to pay 232.000 drams for surgery. Because of the incapability to pay, he had to refuse to undergo surgery.

As a result of cooperation between the Human Rights Defender and the Ministry of Healthcare, the citizen underwent a free eye surgery.

A number of other issues raised by citizens were also solved during the Defender’s visit to borderline villages of Tavush Province, additional information on which will be provided soon.
